They will offer you free hotel room + 2 meal if you pay 50HKD (7USD) to come on board a gamble ship , so what there is such a great deal in Hong Kong ?
Of course there are no free lunch in this world ( especially in HK ) . Many people reported that after they take the “good” deal and go on board. Gang members force them to change at least 50000HKD (7000USD) worth of chips .
Its a bit complicated in Hong Kong / Macau as there are different type of chips. One type of chips is like cash which you can freely exchange with the casino, but the chips you are getting on the ship are “Junket”/ Non-negotiables chips, meaning you cant just change to cash but you have to play and win . Then you can get back some “norma chips” .
By doing that they are make sure you “play” the total amount and mathically maximize their chances of winning by the house edge.
